Oh. Hmm. I don't really blog here anymore because a while back I reopened my website echodrift.  And then I'm also on twitter. Those two are enough to keep my busy

Cars + trips
This week hasn't been the greatest so far. Tuesday morning my car was acting oddly as I would pull out and then shift to 2nd. After a few minutes driving it seemed to be doing better; however, I was able to get a mechanic that works for the college to take a look at it for me. He took it for a short drive and didn't seem to think that anything was wrong with it. Later, though, Michael and I both drove the car and felt like the clutch was much stiffer than it used to be. Michael went ahead and drove it to work that evening but later called me and said it was having more problems. Then, on his way home he called me to let it know that it wasn't accelerating properly.

Turns out my clutch is gone. And there went our only car. See, Michael's blazer had had some problems earlier which ended with the need to replace the motor which we haven't done yet.

So part of my day was spent arranging to get a rental car because of this trip that we've got planned to go to my friend's wedding (as I'm in it) and to visit Michael's family. End of the day we have a car and will be leaving tomorrow evening as planned.

See you all this weekend!

Forays into Photography
2 posts from me in one month? We'll I'll be. Once again, I bring you a website!

I've been interested in photography for a while. I love looking at pictures that other people have taken; I love taking the pictures myself more. While thinking that I'd like to upgrade from the point and shoot camera that I currently have I had another thought: what if I buy the camera but never use it? See, like I said, I've been 'interested.' I haven't actually done that much with it. I barely use the camera that I have so what would be the point in spending money on a new one?

Then I had the idea to start something that would somewhat force me into using the camera and taking pictures: create a website where I would post one photo every single day for a year.

And so, I bring to you three · sixty · five. As it's only been open since last Friday there aren't many photos yet but I do intend to continue! It'll be interesting to look back on after a year, won't it.

Wow it's been a while.
Nothing since September, hm? I guess I'm too much a creature of habit; I've been over on my livejournal instead.

I have my own reason for posting here, though, 'cause I'm wanting to plug myself. Someone got me started on a kick of going back through all of my old 'web design' stuff and I realized that I had already collected most of it for a website. So after a little more digging around to get the ones I knew I had on file somewhere I've finished Once. There are 50 distinct layouts there, going back to 2002.

Finishing Once has prompted me to start a revival of sorts at echodrift. I haven't gotten very far yet but I've got some ideas in the works =)

New Shoes!
All girls love shoes, right? I have a little bit of difficulty in that department. My feet are just a little messed up and as such I have to wear shoes that have great support in them - hence why I wear athletic shoes almost every single day. It gets boring but at least my feet feel good.

However. I went shopping yesterday for an upcoming interview and look what I found.

I found then both at Kohl's. The first pair are Croft&Barrow and the second pair are Candie's. They're both really comfortable. The gray ones not so much as the flats but they're definitely cute enough to make up for it. Now I need a reason to wear them. Which, if I get this job, I will! =)
